i understand that you're degrading environmentally and you're busying trying to save yourself, that's why i'm very sorry to bother you. BUT, i have some important personal stuff to tell you. that's why i'm writing to you.

you know, i think you're taking me for granted. your citizens have not been kind to me (sigh, i know they've not been kind to you either).

sigh. do you feel the same as me, World? you provide them with so much 'stuff', you do so much for your citizens, like providing them with clean air to breathe, but all they do is pollute the air. they do everything except feeling grateful.

yes i know, you and i have the occasional glitches, i know okay. you were sometimes upset and thus, your bad temper resulted in those natural disasters, right? but, but, can you be blamed? no one is perfect, right? even you, my noble friend. i know...

but do your citizens know? aye, i bet they don't. 'cos if they do, they would not have done what they did. heys! i don't know why but i ended up pitying you too. haha.

anyways, i'll try to be like you, my dear friend. instead of slumping in my crib and wallowing in self-pity, i'd rather follow in your footsteps and try to save myself, do things for myself, and think more for myself. okay, thanks for helping World! write to you again soon!

i've nothing much to post. maybe five of the many songs i listen to right now.

i feel so inclined to blog about national day.

first and foremost, i'm really disappointed in gurmit singh and co. because if you people have watched the the NDP this evening, you will know that gurmit singh led the whole stadium to sing 'happy birthday song'. that's ok, considering the 'you' in the song to be singapore. but when they asked the people to turn and shake their neighbours' hands while singing that song, i felt embarrassed. what the, it's not 'ren ri' for heaven's sake. its the nation's birthday! hahahaha.

anyways, this year's national day is a day of family gathering at my grandma's. as always, my grandma whipped up some good food. the chilli prawns were delicious! oh and the soup was irresistable. and then i played with my two uber-cute cousins. haha. we even took a couple of photos!

and then there's the theme song for this year's NDP. its a sticky song man, 'cos it got stuck in my head. HAHA. (ok not funny) but i think 'home' is the all-time favourite still. btw, the fireworks are getting more and more interesting ya? haha.

i'd still prefer yesterday's fireworks display though. i went for a casual gathering with my last year classmates and we went to eat at 'billy bombers' then walked to a FULLY packed esplanade to catch a glimpse of the fireworks display. you know i finally understood the meaning of 'kiasuism' in singapore. the fireworks display started at 9, but when we reached there around 8, the whole esplanade was like 'groundless'. u literally cannot see the ground when u walk. and i really don't know how many times i was groped. it was real bad. so you can imagine the front row peeps got there at what time ya... tsk tsk.

in spite of all this, the 1 hour of squeezing and waiting paid off. the fireworks display was splendid, beautiful, special and most of all, amazing. mayb i'll post my video of the firworks up. =p

so back to today. i went for class outing to the movies. caught this chinese film called 'dragon tiger gate'. there was good action, but bad plot and realism. it's so fake some parts were hilarious. all in all, i'll rate it a 5/10. watch click or fast and furious if u guys are planning to watch a movie. i bet it'll be a better experience. haha.
