upon reaching, i realised i had no money so i had to withdraw some. but i had to go to the toilet urgently too, and i din't know which to do, or which to do first. so i played a game with myself. i closed my eyes and told myself that if the first person i see when i open my eyes is a female, i will withdraw money first, and if it's a male then i'll go to the toilet first. to my despair, when i opened my eyes, i saw the back of a person who has very long hair and who was femininely dressed. so i thought," haiya. withdraw money first lor. hold abit won't die." but when i was about to walk towards the ATM, &%#$!! the creature turned around and to my horror, it has the face of a man! i got a shock of my life.
so i had no choice but to flip a coin, 'cos i tot i saw a female, but it actually was a male, so there was this dilemma going on. but in the end, i was too urgent i had to forgo the outcome of the coin toss and rush to the toilet. it was in an MRT station...
after doing both, i received a call from audrey saying its raining and she's trapped opposite cine. i told her,"like i'm not." and we kept asking each other 'how?' finally i decided to call my friend, si min, who's already at cine. i asked her to buy me an umbrella and come bring me to cine safely and i'll pay her back the umb's money later on. but she refused. instead, she wanted to use her tiny little jacket to 'save' both me and audrey. i laughed.
rejecting her kind offer, i braved the rain to reach the building oppo. cine. (for those who frequent town often, it's the cali fitness side). i waited for the green man to shine under the shelter of the building. after 5 mins, i turned back and i saw audrey, standing just behind of me. then i thought to myself,"is my back very unrecognisable??" and then i was reminded bout the incident earlier on. i felt queasy, again.
i psychoed audrey to brave the rain to cross the short road to cine's side and we reached there without getting really wet. it was okay seriously. the funny part is my other friend had already embarked on her journey to 'save' both of us, so the outcome was quite funny - she got like 2x wetter than audrey and me combined.
and then we watched the sneak preview of the movie "i not stupid too." if i'm a critic, i'll give the movie 4 1/2 stars out of five. 'cos it has really stupid but hilarious jokes that can make the whole theater laugh in unison. and that's damn cool. 'cos no one will then be able to hear your enormously loud laughter, or ur super uber high-pitched laugher, and thus you can laugh in peace. but then, a split second after the joke, a really sad scene will slowly reveal and then you'll end up v v sad. but then another joke will pop out of nowhere and you can hear the whole theater laughing again. it's a really nice experience and emotional rollercoaster. and trust me, this is ONE local film that you will feel that you've got your money's worth.
after a whole day of fun, i had to end the day in a sour note as i saw something not really nice and discussable. but i still had lotsa fun. thanks to all that i met yesterday. i enjoyed my day. =)
can you remember the times when you're feeling down and you think, "shit! i need a friend to talk to." and then you call up your best friend and blabbered all your problems to her/him? what will he/she do after listening to your sad story?
1. praying for you silently, hoping you're alright. or
2. think of ways to cheer you up. or
3. agitate you even more by agreeing and adding on how evil that person is. or
4. put up a post on his/her blog to publicly announce to the world that you're having some problems and at the same time conveniently critising the guy/girl that hurt you, AND THINKING THAT'S WHAT A BEST FRIEND SHOULD DO?
i bet many people have experienced this scenario before. if you're a spiteful person, you may be delighted with what you're friend have done. but for normal people, that's something called bitchy, and that's no way to solve a problem. so if your best friend have done something like that, please think twice before picking up the phone and dialing his/her no. 'cos MAYBE, that "best friend" is actually only a best fiend.

in an awkward state of shame
in the eyes of sorrow and pain
in the utmost fallacy
centered an inevitable tragedy
black and white they played the roles
worlds apart that they know
desires and promises fueled the show
on a summer morning
down fell snow
they placed their hearts on fate that day
a year passed like snow on sleigh
they played with their futures on hand
oh fate demanded the year to fade
like an amateur play
a day that year was a bullet train
like a carousel on an inverted plane
fittingly an adolescent's game
upon a word the play is dead
so is the game.

school's dammnnn fun. this year's batch of new peeps are much lesser than the last, which is my batch. WAIT. this year's my batch too. wtf. whatever. heard that there's like 700-800+ peeps this year in CJ compared to like 1000+ last year?? and the class i'm posted to consists of like 15 people, 10 less than last year's class. however, the constitution is almost the same - 12 guys, 3 girls.
my new classmates are not bad man, seriously. there's this lionel from my sec school whom my facil said is to many girls their eye candy. woah. not bad. then there's this cool dude by the name of darien. but the first person in the class i got to know better was ivan (chin). he has a pair of nike dunks that's real cool. and there's the girls: charlene, deon & isabel. i always forget isabel's name i dunno why (i'm really sorry!). nice people they are.
in just a few days almost the whole class' guys got their nicks. ivan is scooby doo. lionel is peter? the rest i can't remember. there's this 2 indian dudes in my class who are so funny. they are really enthu into things which makes our class so much more livelier. all in all, as our facil queen chants," 0-9, 1-t-0-9! 0-9, 1-t-0-9!"
but WAIT WAIT! there's one serious problem about the class... i absolutely hate the subject combi!! it's like HISTory?! i was posted to my second choice combi and it's certainly not what i want. so... i'm gonna withdraw and go to poly... at the end of the first 3 mths. cheers.
thanks for reading. i'm alex.
